Billy George Nail, 86, a retired deputy tax assessor in Tallahatchie County, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Greenwood.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday November 8, 2013, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.

Mr. Nail was a former member of Lions Club and sold advertisements for Kaeser and Blair. He was a member of Webb Sumner United Methodist Church.

Survivors include wife Clarice White Nail of Webb; two sons Glenn Nail (Judy) of Greenwood and Alan Nail (Regina) of Cleveland; two grandchildren Morgan Andrews and Halee Nail; and two great-grandchildren Miller Andrews and Park Andrews.

He was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Ona Nail and sister Opal Nail.
