Linda Lou Bright, 65, died on Sunday, November 25, 2012.

She was born on September 25, 1947, to the late Oather and Rosie (Lewelling) Ferguson Sr. in Greenwood and resided in the Drew area most of her life. She was a hairdresser at Headliner Salon in Drew and Walter B Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville. She was a member of the West Drew Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by a sister Joyce Smallwood.

Visitation was held on Tuesday November 27, 2012, from noon-2 p.m. at the West Drew Baptist Church in Drew.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday at West Drew Baptist Church in Drew with the Rev. Ricky Milan officiating. Burial followed in Drew Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne Parks, A.W. Parks, Bobby Blackwell, Tony Champion, Kelly Davidson, Doak Fulgham, A.J. Wilson and Andrew Wilson.

She is survived by husband, Larry Bright of Drew; daughter, Becky (Bart) Alley of Collierville, Tenn.; son, Ron (Lisa) Smith of Stringer; stepson, Dale (Tammie) Bright of Yazoo City; three granddaughters, Alex Brower of Collierville, Tenn., Jennifer Duffy of Brandon and Sydney Bright of Greenwood; one grandson, Lane Bankston of Stringer; two great-grandsons, James Duffy of Brandon and Matthew Duffy of Brandon; two sisters, Dolly Sherron of Drew and Margaret Morgan of Jackson; three brothers, El Hugh Ferguson of Cleveland, Oather Ferguson Jr. of Grenada and Pete Ferguson of Poplarville.
