David and Mylinda Petrie of Webb and Frank and Denona Proctor of Cleveland announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jenifer Conn Petrie of Cleveland, to Max Joseph Davidson III of Cleveland, son of Joe and Tammie Davidson of Cleveland and Marilyn Gray Davidson of Drew.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Addie Davis of Cleveland and the late Gary Davis and the late T.W. Cail of Webb and Clara Petrie. Great-grandmother is Jewel Proctor of Albuquerque, N.M.

She is a graduate of Bayou Academy; attended the University of Mississippi; and received an associate's degree in dental hygiene from Mississippi Delta Community College.

She has run 5Ks for different philanthropies and volunteered at North Sunflower Medical Center.

She is employed as the office manager at the Sunflower Dental Clinic in Ruleville.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Max J. Davidson of Cleveland and Mary Gray of Drew and the late Ben Gray of Drew.

He graduated from Cleveland High School and Mississippi Delta Community College.

He participates in disc golf tournaments.

He is employed as a salesman with Mallette Furniture in Cleveland.

Wedding vows will be exchanged in a 6 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Boyle with Bro. Clarence Edwards officiating.

The reception will immediately follow at the Bolivar County Annex in Cleveland. All family and friends are invited to attend.
