The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Wayne Melton of Clinton and the late Phyllis Melton, Kathy Sosebee of Indianola and the late Kimbrell Sosebee and Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Tarver of Shaw.
Emily is a 2007 graduate of Washington School in Greenville and a 2011 graduate of Mississippi College with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
She is currently employed as an ICU nurse at Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Evans of Brandon and Glenda Wade of Yazoo City and the late Charlie Wade.
Tyler is a 2006 graduate of Pearl High School and a 2010 graduate of Mississippi College where he played soccer and earned a bachelor's degree in education.
He is currently employed as an admissions counselor at Mississippi College while attending graduate school.
Emily and Tyler will marry Saturday, April 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church Chapel in Jackson. Following the honeymoon the two will make their home in Clinton.
