11 a.m.- 3 p.m. — A fundraiser will be held at Joy Health and Rehab in Cleveland for Gloria Rash of Boyle who house recently burned. Ribs, chicken wings, hamburgers and other items will be available for sale.

Noon — Lions Club will meet at the Cleveland Country Club.

2-4 p.m. — The Bolivar County Farm Service Agency will honor Blake McGaughy with a reception for his years of service to the county, in the auditorium of the Bolivar County Agriculture Center on Martin Luther King Dr. in Cleveland.

All items for WGO (What’s going on) should be submitted in writing to the Lifestyles Editor of The Bolivar Commercial at least one day prior to publication. All items should pertain to meetings and events which are open to the public. We do not run church briefs, sporting events, or invitations to private parties. Items will be run on a space available basis. Please remember we no longer have a Monday edition, so all information pertaining to that day should be turned in Friday morning.
