Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Vernon Memorial Church in Cleveland with Elder Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Byas Funeral Home in Cleveland.
Survivors include husband, Woodrow Greer of Cleveland; sons, Delan Jeral Greer of Clinton and Willie Joe Greer of Jackson; brothers, Carl Anthony Chestnut of Portland, Ore., Rayfield Chestnut of New Haven, Conn., James Earl Chestnut of N.J. and Lawrence L. Chestnut of Ga.; sisters, Carolyn Artist of Goldberg, N.C., Barbara J. Cooley of Portland, N.H., Vernel Simmons of Detroit and Diane C. Williams of Battleboro, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
