According to the sheriff's report, the victim asked James Jackson, 35, for a ride but once she entered the vehicle, Jackson took her to an abandoned house off the highway.
Jackson pulled into the driveway of the deserted property and forced himself upon the victim instead of taking the victim to her desired destination.
Jackson was charged with rape and bond was set at $5,000.
He is still being held at the Bolivar County Correctional Facility.
