Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2013, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. a Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Union Church.
Mr. McDonald was a veteran of the Army National Guard and worked in the automotive industry as a machinist. He was a member of the Indianola Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hamilton McDonald.
He is survived by his mother, Ann McDonald of Indianola; a brother, Dan McDonald of Rexburg, Idaho; three sisters, Anna Free and Judy McDonald, both of Indianola, and Jamie Powell of Greenville.
