According to Cleveland Police Chief Buster Bingham, Leonard Carter was flown to The MED in Memphis, Tenn., with a stab wound to the neck.
“Carter was stabbed once in the right side of the neck by A. Juitt,” said Bingham, who added both adults were in their 50s.
“She had been hit in the mouth with a bottle,” he said. “Their altercation was over a stove.”
Bingham said the incident is still under investigation and didn’t know if charges would be issued against Carter.
“He was stabbed pretty good,” he said.
The Bolivar Commercial will have more on this as it develops.
