The theme of this year’s parade will be “Home for the Holidays.”
Floats entered in the parade will be judged according to creativity, presentation and in keeping with the overall theme of the parade. Prizes will be awarded.
All registration must be received no later than Nov. 30. This deadline will insure proper recognition of all organizations in the newspaper and to make sure the parade line-up is accurate.
Floats should be at the line-up site on Merritt Drive no later than 4 p.m. on Dec. 5.
All other units are to line up at 4:30 p.m. This line-up will be announced the day before the parade in the newspaper.
ALL participants not in the line-up in their designated location by 5:15 p.m. will not be allowed to participate.
Beta Sigma Phi International sponsors the Santa Claus float, so no other floats should feature Santa.
Throwing candy, favors, coupons, or advertising items from the floats is forbidden by the city of Cleveland. In the spirit of the season, no advertising (including business names, business phone numbers, business logos, and/or employee information) is allowed on any entry in the parade.
