Bolivar County native works as Court of Appeals law clerk

Julian D. Miller of Canton is serving a judicial clerkship on the staff of the Mississippi Court of Appeals.

He works as a law clerk for Presiding Judge T. Kenneth Griffis of Ridgeland.

Miller previously worked for several non-profit organizations. He served as program coordinator for the Mississippi Delta Initiative, and as state director for outreach for the Black Alliance for Educational Options.

He was a founding board member of the Delta Fresh Foods Network and co-founder of the Trinity Development Foundation.

Miller, a native of Winstonville, earned an A.B. degree in government from Harvard College and a law degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
