Funeral services will be Saturday, May 3, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Mound Bayou, with the Rev. Jeffrick Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Chapel Cemetery in Winstonville under the direction of Brinson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be?from 1-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Myron was born July 19, 1983, in Cleveland. He was educated in the Mound Bayou Public School system. He was baptized at an early age at Pilgrim Chapel M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. James Miller.
Myron was affectionate and loved helping whomever he could. His favorite passion was cooking. He was employed by anyone that allowed him to display his culinary skills and talent.
Doing what he loved to do best, God saw fit that his time was well spent here on earth and decided to call him home to be with Him.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, Ida Bell Bedford and Ledale Williams Sr., two uncles, Algenone Williams and Carmen Coleman.
Myron is survived by his mother, Brenda Williams Sterling of Mound Bayou; father, Marion (Linda) Bedford of Winstonville; grandparents Mary (Robert) Garner of Mound Bayou, Roosevelt Bedford, Winstonville; three sisters, Turkeesa Sterling and Meyana Sterling, both of Mound Bayou, Ashley (James) Price of Winstonville; four brothers Randall Sterling and Darian Sanders, both of Mound Bayou, Dezmond Bedford and Demorris Bedford, both of Winstonville; 11 aunts Linda Wade, Julia (Clyde) Sterling of Cleveland, Vonedale Williams of Houston Texas, Keicia Bedford of Winstonville, Marietta Bedford of Greenbelt, Md., Shaundalon (Famous) Hasty of Bolingbrook, Ill., Sandra Garner, Johnnie Mae Garner, Carmen (David) Huffman, Dorothy Huffman, all of Mound Bayou, and Verestine Garner of Chicago, Ill.; 11 uncles Ledale (Cindy) Williams Jr. of West Helena, Ark., Carlos (Kim) Bedford of Durham, N.C., Mitchell (Monica) Steadman of New Orleans, La., Andrea Bedford of Winstonville, Robert (Linda) Garner Jr, Charles (Regina) Garner, Charles (Mae Ossie) Garner, all of Shelby, James (Gloria) Garner of Fayetteville, N.C.; four nieces, Kalynn Robinson, Amya Cooper, Alexa Cooper, and De’Niya Douglas, all of Mound Bayou; one nephew, Kameron Sterling of Mound Bayou; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
