Leroy Hunter, 76, of Benoit died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Jordan Grove M.B. Church in Grapeland with Rev. Johnny Moore officiating. Burial will be in Grapeland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Redmon Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville, followed by a wake from 5-6 p.m.

Survivors include wife, James Ella Hunter in Greenville; children Brenda (Johnnie) Barnette, Debra Hunter and Renee Johnson, all of Benoit, Linda Hunter and Leroy Hunter, both of Greenville, Elizabeth Banks (Douglas) Moore of Mound Bayou, Arlene Campbell and Leroy Ireland, both of Fresno, Calif.; 10 stepchildren, Ephen (Sharon) Banks of Shaw, Edna (Luther) Amos of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Ruby Banks, Teretha Banks, Jacquline (Joe) Moore, Patricia (Johnny) Moore, Helen Banks and Amhad Banks, all of Beulah, Shelly Banks of Benoit, and Charles Banks of Evansville, Ind.; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
