James Hunter, 69, of Kankakee, Ill., formerly of Rolling Fork, died on Friday, July 11, 2014 in Kankakee, Ill.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Shiloh M.B. Church in Rolling Fork, with Pastor Shaun McGee officiating. Burial followed in Green Chapel Cemetery in Rolling Fork, under the direction of W.S. Brandon Mortuary in Cleveland.

Visitation was held one hour prior to service.

He is survived by five daughters, Shelly Chaney of Kankakee, Ill., Jamie Richardson-Hill of Vicksburg, Rosemary Madison and Tonya Rodgers, both of Atlanta, Ga., and Chantell Horton of California; a son, James Williams; five brothers, Tyrone Flood of Chicago, Ill., Eddie Lewis of Kankakee, Ill., Harvey and Judge III, both of Bay St. Louis and Carl Green of Rolling Fork; five sisters, Alice Jean Galloway of St. Louis, Mary L. Flood, Betty Weaver, Georgia Goff and Barbara Wiley, all of Bay St. Louis; two uncles, Johns Rhodes and Eddie Flood, both of Rolling Fork; two aunts, Marie Myles of Rolling Fork and Carrie McGhee Clemons, both of Chicago, Ill.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
